Hackers claim to be selling PSN

It seems that security researchers have spotted hackers trying to sell illegally obtained PlayStation Network Data.

And apparently the hackers have claimed to let Sony “buy back” the data although Sony denies that they were ever given the chance to.  The hackers claim they have the personal info, credit card numbers, expiry dates and also the security codes to those cards. It sounds like Sony isn’t being clean about what exactly was taken.

There’s been a rabid following of fans that are blaming Sony for this but hey, why shoot the messenger when it wasn’t them that instigated this incident?! So look for a mass cancelling of credit cards due to the PSN security breach while I try to find a card shredder!
