iPad Mini Announced And More!

Well it’s no surprise that it would happen, but the iPad Mini has been announced with the price tag of $329.99. There will be iPad Mini Smart Covers available for it as well. With the small theme in mind, the 13″ MacBook Pro will now feaure a 2500×1600 resolution IPS screen and 29% better contrast ratio.

And with more mini news, the Mac Mini will have 4 USB ports, an SD card reader, HDMI out, up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB HDD or 256 SDD and starts with the price of $599.

Apple then introduced the new iMac with edge-to-edge display with 27″ and 21.5″ models, that are 5mm at the edges.

What was surprising was the 4th Gen iPad announcement with a new A6X processor, doubling the CPU and GPU with 10 hours of battery life. Preorders for iPad 4 starts on Oct. 26 and shipping for Wi-Fi only models ship Nov. 2 with price tag for the Wifi model starting at $500 and the Wifi/3G starting at $629.

The iPad Mini will be released on Nov. 2 and starts at $329 for the 16GB WiFi model and the 32GB and 64GB models will cost $429 and $529 respectively. The 16GB WiFi/4G Model will cost $459, the 32GB and 64GB will cost $559 and $659 respectively. The screen is 7.9″ and is a backlit IPS screen. The resolution is the same as the iPad, but with the smaller screen, it is sharper. Basically they’ve crammed the iPad 2 into the iPad Mini, with the A5 dual-core proccessor. It will also support 4G/LTE where available, which is definitely welcome.
