Android phones running 2.3 Gingerbread and higher are to gain access to the PlayStation Network Store and also the PlayStation Suite, which means Android users will have access to PS1 and PlayStation Quality games, states Sony. Sony has not released any type of pricing for the games that will be available through this system. This is another move by Sony to expand their marketshare and to get their hand into the lucrative phone app market. I’ll probably still stick to my PS3 or PSP for these downloads so my phone’s battery doesn’t get drained too quickly, even though this idea is pretty neat.
