Happy Star Wars Day

May Fourth is undeniably pun related and nerdy for all Star Wars fans. Assuming you don’t live under a rock, or in Obi-Wan’s case, in the middle of the Dune Sea, the iconic phrase “May the Force be with you” has been turned into a holiday of sorts by fans as May the Fourth sounds quite close to the catchphrase. Fun trivia facts include Los Angeles City Council declared May 25, 2007 as Star Wars Day in honour of A New Hope releasing May 25, 1977 and Toronto hosted the first organized Star Wars Day in 2011 at the Toronto Underground Cinema and festivities included a costume contest, best web film tributes and more! Hopefully I can actually make my way through the Blu Ray version of the saga this weekend barring an invasion by the Trade Federation or a team of Imperial Troopers.
