If you were looking forward to the third part of the Hobbit trilogy to hit theaters this May, sorry to disappoint, but it has been delayed. The third segment of the trilogy, There and Back Again, will hit theaters on December 17, 2014. With the second movie, The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug heading to theaters on December 13, 2013, fans still have something to look forward to at the end of this year!

The Hobbit finally has a release date of December 14, 2012 and as we all know, is directed by Peter Jackson. I’m already giddy for the movie even though we’ve nearly got a full year before it’s release!
