Canadian 3DS Demo Event

Nintendo is hosting 3DS events in two Canadian cities. For those in Toronto and Vancouver, you’ll be able to try out the 3DS and its glasses free 3D technology and also several launch titles on Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 6PM until Midnight. Free swag is available during the March 26th event so if you’re in the Vancouver or Toronto area, it would be a good idea to check it out! 3DS sells out in Japan

Japan has fully sold out their 400,000 units of 3DS within a short period of time on launch day. Nintendo has planned to ship 4 million units worldwide by the end of the fiscal year on March 31. Out of the 4 million, 1.5 million are slated for Japan. With what is happening in Japan, long lineup in North America and Europe on launch day are expected.
