Ocarina of Time 3D will include Master Quest

Ocarina of Time 3D just got sweeter just this past week. A Nintendo representative let slip at GDC 2011 that the Master Quest will be included in the same cartridge. It’s a great chance to play both games re-mastered in 3D (pun intended) and its definitely one of the better Zelda remakes.

3D makes people blink… ALOT!

Seems like everything is being made with 3D technology now. It’s like the HD of a few years back. Along with these new trends are those eager few who want to redefine the way we view 3D. Right now, most people associate 3D with glasses (you know, the ones that give you headaches). Nintendo has done away with the glasses in favour of a camera that tracks eye movement for the 3DS. Although this may seem cool, Mr. Francois here has found an even cooler way to watch 3D. Continue reading

Nintendo had considered a 3D Gameboy Advance

Nintendo had considered releasing a 3D Gameboy Advance but put the idea on hold until the 3DS. The reason that they put the idea on hold was that the LCD screens back in 2001 didn’t have the quality needed to make good quality 3D screens. Also Iwata let slip that the Gamecube was 3D capable as well too but it would have increased production costs by quite a bit. He also mentioned that they did have a 3D version of Luigi’s Mansion as well. At least Nintendo held off on this technology until now, where 3D screens are readily available and are of a good enough quality to pass their quality control.
