Netflix To Stop Disc Streaming For The Wii

As most Wii owners know, Netflix has been available for the system for a while now and has a dedicated channel for it as well. Recently, Netflix has announced that the disc streaming option they currently have for the Wii will be discontinued on January 31, 2011. The Wii will still be able to stream movies from Netflix, but must now use the dedicated app called Netflix Channel. Have fun watching all those movies and TV shows on your Wii!

Poll: Will You Buy A 3DS?

With the recent announcement of the 3DS being released here in North America on March 27 for a price of $249.99, is anyone going to get this nifty little 3D handheld? I’ve got my Aqua Blue 3DS already pre-ordered and paid off already thanks to the birthday money I saved up last year.

A Trip Down Memory Lane

An awesome compilation of FPS games through the years. Doom was my first shooter. I played it on a Pentium II machine with a 16mb video card! Amazing how much has changed over 30 years. Looking forward to the next 30!

Nintendo 3DS E-Store Demo Video

We finally have some video on the interwebs for a demo of 3DS’s e-store. I’m hoping that this will be more successful than the DSiWare, WiiWare and Virtual Console that exist with the DSi and the Wii.

Why The Last Story may not be localized

Last Story may not be localized, and if it is it likely won’t be for awhile as Nintendo’s teams are busy with many other projects at the time and the large amount of story and text would take time to edit, translate and or subtitle and or dub into other languages for localization. As a heads up to them from me, do they realize that many gamers these days are fine with the Japanese audio with English subtitles, most who would want this game over here would actually rather they keep the game with Japanese audio, i.e. importers/purists. In other words  the people who would want this game anyways.

No More Rock Band Network Tracks for Wii Users

Next week, the last of the Rock Band Network indie packs will cease to be provided for any Wii owners that own Rock Band. It is due to the small install base that this game has so it is not as profitable for them to upkeep the servers.
